Choose the correctly punctuated sentence in six question pairs
Write two original list sentences using colourful picture prompts
The visual prompts and sentence-selection activity provide additional structure for pupils who benefit from greater support.

Add commas to six lists
Add commas after six sentence openers
Rewrite six sentences containing both opening elements and lists
Identify and add all missing commas within complete sentences
This level increases the amount of independent writing while combining more than one use of the comma.

Add commas after six fronted adverbials
Move five subordinate clauses to the beginning of sentences and punctuate them correctly

This level requires pupils to apply punctuation knowledge independently across increasingly complex sentences and connected writing.
