Year 4 Adding Hours to Time - Analogue & 24-Hour Clock Practice (499-501)
This Year 4 Adding Hours to Clock Times worksheet pack provides structured, differentiated practice in adding hours to analogue clock times and recording answers using 24-hour digital time.
Pupils practise adding 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 hours to a range of clock times, including:
o’clock and half past
quarter past / quarter to
irregular minute values (e.g. :13, :28, :51)
times that cross midnight
Each worksheet is carefully differentiated into three levels:
Triangles – simpler times using whole hours and half hours
Circles – mixed times including quarter past/to and varied hour jumps
Squares – challenge questions with irregular minutes and 24-hour time conversions
All questions use clear analogue clocks, with pupils writing the new time on a second clock and recording it as a digital time. Answer sheets are included with clearly marked red clock hands for quick checking.
A QR code is included on each worksheet, linking to a short instructional video to support independent learning and home use.
This resource is ideal for classwork, homework, interventions, or revision, and requires no additional preparation.
